Duane > Poor Steve Wilson! I had never tried to show anybody how to do the ropes before, and sometimes it was hard just getting people into the set-up position. At least it made for some good laughs.

Duane > Steve, this is not a 3-D version of the game Twister. This was by far the funniest moment of the evening.

Duane > Kathy Pilcher stepped up and braved the ropes.

Duane > Tom Banks did a great job representing Anacortes, Washington. He's a SSTIKS veteran, so he's done the ropes before. He's visiting Southern California for a while and has been welcomed into the local sea kayaking community. Maybe we can talk him into staying here.

Duane > Bob McMurray did a little ropes after TAKS 2006 and was getting reacquainted.
